MyStock

Know what your A-share portfolio really costs.

MyStock is a personal portfolio tracker for China's A-share market. It does not make trading decisions for you — it makes the cost, profit/loss and fees add up correctly, so you know your real return before you open the broker app.

Capabilities

What it solves

Trading apps show market value, but rarely answer the harder question: what is your actual cost, and what did this sale really earn? MyStock does just that.

01

Weighted-average cost

Cost is recalculated after every buy, sell and dividend. A sale can be booked as realised P&L or as an average-cost reduction.

02

Dividends & splits

Bonus shares, capitalisation issues, cash dividends and rights issues are all handled, updating both quantity and cost.

03

Trading fees

Configurable commission, plus stamp duty and transfer fees under A-share rules. Fees can be included in P&L or excluded.

04

Screenshot import

A multimodal model reads trade screenshots and imports several records at once, instead of typing each one by hand.

05

Live quotes

Market value follows the market, using Sina Finance as the primary source and Tencent as a fallback.

06

Local first

Data lives on the device in SQLite. The schema is sync-friendly, leaving room for multi-device sync later.

How it is built

The first version is Android-only, deliberately scoped to what one person can maintain. The parts most likely to be wrong — cost, corporate actions and fees — are covered by unit tests. Data stays local until multi-device sync is genuinely needed.
